    Polina takes the lead once more, opening the door, and you immediately hear movement in response - prepared movement, and decidedly with hostile intentions, though the fog makes it impossible to make out who's who or what's going on.

    Ayalla's spirit guardians is still up but won't do any damage to anyone in range until the start of the enemy's turns.

    The white border, not that you can really know this, is the edge of the fog cloud, so anything left of the white edge is opaque - can't see anything for spellcasting purposes, adv/disadv negated, no OAs. That's why all the creatures are ?s as well.

    The only way into the room is the door that Polina is adjacent too, so narrow chokepoint.
