Connor took in the sight of the waterfront with a dumbstruck awe. He'd heard the stories, so many times. To see it himself felt like climbing inside of a book he'd read and now finally experiencing every detail, smell and sound and it just changed everything. He knew Coldwater, he believed in her, but seeing the enemy massed like this even his faith was starting to tremble. He shook off the feeling as soon as it came and the bells rang him into the present again.
