Taalia Giovanni

Taalia attempted to recreated Cestie's navigation of the wall but failed to replicate the instruction. It was all so unnatural for her - grip here, foot there, don't get the wrong angle or you'll slip and lose momentum. It was a totally foreign concept to her, and that it was still within the muscle memory of a man three times her age was testimony to the repetition required to master it.

"Damnit!" Taalia hissed angrily, having to jump backwards a couple of feet off the wall and brace her fall by bending her knee's. The girl straightened herself out and peered back and forth along that railing in search of evidence that Cestie had merely used the roof as cover, rather as the next stage of his continual flight.

"Singore Cestie, Maso!" she called up to him, desperation in her voice.

"Don't leave us! Don't leave him again!"
