I'm confused my your statement of "its the closest"

The bakery is #2, and almost the farthest

Or did you mean it'd be the closest to a clue kinda?

The Constable said

OR

"You could always try talking to the Tarascon's, they own the large townhouse and the Plantation which brings in most of the income for the town."

I presumed without looking at the map that the townhouse was at the plantation, and they would be further out of the town.
so if that is not the case then it is just my bad for not looking at the map

also Millie is kind of ticked off about getting searched and that candy shop is definitely a source of information / aggravation
