Augur sprints across the practice floor, relying on his precognition to guide him. As he closes with his team mate his vision doubles, what he sees in real time overlayed with Nightgaunt's response to his attack. As the vampire dodges left, a baton seemingly comes out of nowhere striking him in the ribs. The ex-quarterback presses the attack, catching the experienced hero with his other baton on the right thigh just as Nightgaunt recoils from the first hit. Terrence drops into a defensive stance to prepare for the return attack. "Got lucky on those, I guess," he says, a big smile under his face guard.
