This was not what she had expected when she left Wyrdtown! She thought of asking the Prince if he needed healing for his hand, but decided to keep quiet instead. She remembered being told once that a lesser pain could sometimes help mitigate a greater one. At the time she had scoffed at such a statement, commenting that no pain at all was surely better than any pain, however small. Life had a strange way of teaching you a lesson sometimes. When the prince finally spoke, breaking her train of thought, she simply nodded and followed the Prince to the aid of the others.
