"I would speak against giving the boots to the genie. I can only guess what sort of pranks it could play on people with a cursed pair of boots. I'd be much more in favor of taking them with us. Perhaps we could get the curse fully removed in Baldur's Gate. I know I would be in line to utilize it's protective magic if not for it's dangers."
