I was wondering if the chalcedony waves necklace mentioned here had some plot relevance, and it turns out that while it doesn't seem to have been talked about in previous Da&Dr strips, it is a real tidbit of Star Wars lore. Since it only appears in A New Hope, however, this is just a joke about why Leia no longer has it.
