On the map the wall is no or not much bigger than standard grid border and Warlock is still within 5 feet of the Ghast. Does the Warlock make a saving throw despite the fact there is a wall between him and a Ghast?

A102: Yes. That ability doesn’t say “next to” but “within 5 feet” which encompasses the Warlocks current location.
