    "Might MitD's base creature be copyrighted by a company other than Wizards of the Coast?"

    (I mean, of course, my actual ideal question would be "What is MitD?" but since the chances of getting that answered are 0, I'd at least like an answer to "what copyrighted creatures can we consider?")
