Setting: Magic has threaded it's way into every facet, every part of life now, past the days gone where wizards horded their arcane knowledge, Where religion held sway over your health.
The Empire hates this way of life; they want to go back to the old ways; the ways of Might Over right.

Homebrew Changes: The Largest ones are that all classes have access to be able to create; use and employ magic items. Casters still might hold king over magic; but even a fighter with a little bit of ingenuity can make his own magic arms and armor.
