The rules and character creation guide's all there. Once you're finished there's about a month of wait time before you're actually introduced (We've added a new Lord character and map updates are 6 times a week now [3x2 maps], which speeds intros up considerably) the OOC thread is quite active and you can get a good deal of help creating custom sprites, fleshing out background, and learning about the game.

We've been running since March, so the game's not going to vanish or die suddenly, but the plot hasn't gotten so far that you'll have to do more than a couple hours' reading to catch up.
