If by xkcd you mean Homestuck, and by "a million leagues ahead of" you mean "about equal to" then your statement becomes factually correct.

Also I have to say I love ponies, but would feel horribly out of place in this thread, if I was here on a regular basis.

I wouldn't count Homestruck as a webcomic (going by the TV Tropes labels) I would place it under Web Original work.
