Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Blech. Well… if we don’t spot them, all we can do is try to respond when they elect to show themselves. I can’t imagine they gain much by spitefully murdering their cell mates. More likely they’ll take hostages and we may have to let the doppelgängers run… which will put us on a sharp timer before they call in the cavalry.

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Damn, that zone of antimagic knocked out your ability to even perceive the thread you were RPing in!
That's some immersive RP! :D
Welcome back. We might be out of clever options there - we're either going to have to march this mob out the door and break for the ship, or else back ourselves into a room of our choosing and let you rip a teleport ritual. If the alarm goes up, Batwoman can still warp to the top of the keep and create a divisive distraction as per previous plan.
I guess we have to see if the keys are available, or if we'll have to start picking these cages one at a time. One way or another, we have do discover if there are dopplegangers in our midst.
I have another twisty sneaky plan to get the group out of here, a variation on "walk out the door", but I'll save it for if it becomes relevant.Damien Wayne in Molan's Batman {D&D3.5e}

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
So, just to clarify, the DC to spot lord Karlo was 20. I have been eagerly awaiting this reveal but I don't want anyone to feel like they're being too shoe-horned into these situations. If anyone has any feedback or complaints please let me know, but I hope you guys enjoyed that. Let's see what we do with an amorphic boss inside an Anti-Magic field!

Aw, dang! I shoulda rolled anyway! If I had, I woulda... (1d20+5)[25] ...I woulda rolled a natural 20 aahahaha ain't that how it goes :) Oh well, adapt! And no worries mate, I didn't roll when I had the chance and I like it when the dice (or lack of them) conspire to make dramatic moments. Now we just have to figure out how to deal with this goofus...
Damien: 21

Haha, I think it's just that we all go before Karlo does.
AFAIK the door is still open - maybe Barbara can get to work on those ViP cells while Damien starts on the regular ones. He's less impeded by the field than she is, but also, if the guards start coming down one corridor or the other, Damien can't fill those approaches with area denial of any kind and Barbara can!Damien Wayne in Molan's Batman {D&D3.5e}

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
14 turns moving and unlocking, not even including getting up to the hanging cages and the VIP’s? Bugger that for a game of soldiers, Damien’s dragooning some of these bards if they can’t put some multipliers on that time. Even if it’s just another two people opening cages that’ll cut the operation time down to a third, and I’m hoping there’s a key on each of these downed guards…
