    Titus moves up, imbuing Sabian's shield with light to replace that of Chloe's destroyed construct. Sabian takes a defensive stance, and Chloe creates a flame next to him to guard his flank.

    The humanoid figure steps into the light, shielding its eyes, and claws at Sabian. It appears to have several claw marks across its chest - fairly fresh injuries.

    From his moon-and-star, he released a wave of golden energy that took the form of a double-bladed scimitar. "Zulfiqar!" He cried, and the spiritual weapon spun in the air and went flying towards the enemy.

    He cast another Sacred Flame and hustled up to assume his position on the frontline, beside Sabian.

    Mustafa's strike lands, although the creature dodges his burst of radiant flame. One of the wolves charges into the flame to attack Mustafa, but misses due to the burning flames.

    Titus misses. Sabian hits one of the wolves with his spear, then shoves the shadow demon. It dodges most of the flame, and doesn't seem very burned by the rest (saved, resisted). Chloe's flame burns the wolf further, then she sprays a line of holy water. Both shade wolves dodge some of the spray, but it burns them heavily (save: success; vulnerable: double damage; total 11 dmg each).

    The Shadow Demon steps to the side (Sabian: OA), disappearing into the wall and appearing next to Titus and Chloe. It claws at the warlock, but can't see very well due to the brightness of the Light spell.

    Mustafa's spiritual weapon misses, but the shadow demon shrieks as the flames burn it (14 damage). Fenced in by flame, the Shade Wolf in front of Mustafa tries to bite him, then retreats (Mustafa: OA).

    The shadowy creature begins to phase through the wall, and Sabian stabs at it before it can vanish.

    Sabian and Mustafa's OAs hit.
    Titus swings and misses, but Sabian stabs the shade wolf in front of him, but fails to knock it back.
    Chloe's blast of holy water hits both the Shadow Demon and the Shade wolf by Sabian full-force. They both melt away into nothing, leaving behind only a bitter, acrid scent.

    The final shade wolf is easily dealt with (it had 1hp left).

    "Everyone alright?" Mustafa cast a Light spell on his shield and checked on the others. His double-bladed scimitar floated beside him for a minute before it vanished in golden particles of light. "We press on, then. Let's keep backup lights in he rear from now on, in case the enemy manages to snuff one of them out."

    Leaving nothing but ash behind, you proceed down the dark tunnel with the company of only each other, your magical lights, and the slight breeze.

    Some of you know that Laruba monastery is a fortified place of contemplation, prayer, and meditation. Shaped out of rock in the middle of Laruba Lake, it’s reachable only by boat, a long swim in cold waters the very passage you're in. The monks there purchase grain from the mainland, fish, and are rumored to practice meditations that help their bodies require much less food and water.

    The monastery itself is solidly built of stone, a square fortress-like structure standing forty feet high and one hundred forty feet on a side. There are narrow arrow-slit windows on the second and third floors. The roof is flat, protected by a crenellated wall. If used as a fortification, it would be hard to take by storm.

    Eventually, you reach the end of the tunnel. A long set of stairs hewn into the rock ascend upwards, terminating at a sturdy wooden door, which is closed.

    "Could the Enemy have infiltrated the tunnel, but not the monastery?" Mustafa shared his thought with the others. "More shadows could have slithered under this door."

    He moves closer to inspect the door. "Those with better eyes than me, look closer. Does it look like this door has been opened recently?"

    He casts a Guidance spell on whoever inspects the door.
