Ravens on deck, Jairess - who is now stirring - in the hole ...

"Begone you birds!" Moorgram roars as he lets loose a swing of rage and moves towards the stirring Jairess.

R4T11: "Begone, you birds!" Moorgram roars as now nauseated and blinded he screams in rage while stumbling towards the southwest. Unable to see, he stumbles and trips over the ropes and lands prone in a thick area of bird poop - both fresh and old, while partially tangled in two sets of ropes. Moorgram begins to get his vision back, and his floor-bound troubles makes him more focused, no longer distracted.

End Round 4, Begin Round 5 ...

R5T20: The ravens continue to harass Moorgram, doing 5.

R5T16: Jairess stands carefully but still gets hit by a powerful, wild slash from Moorgram for 18. She steps away.

R5T11: Moorgram, you are prone and entangled in the ropes you tripped over. What do you do?

Realizing the danger of his predicament, Moorgram stands and plods his way back the way he came, hoping that whatever brought him here will bring him back where he came from.

R5T11: Realizing the danger of his predicament, Moorgram has to disentangle himself from the ropes, stand, and takes the only clear step towards the way he came, hoping that whatever brought him here will take him away in the same manner.

End Round 5, Begin Round 6 ...

R6T20: The ravens swarm around Moorgram for 3, and he protects his face while keeping his wits about him.

R6T16: Jairess hurdles the western corner of the pen and circles around to block Moorgram, missing him as she thrusts her shortspear.

R6T11: Moorgram, what do you do?

Emboldened by Jairess' move to block his path, Moorgram continuing to make his way to safety and avoiding her attacks.

R6T11: Emboldened by Jairess' move to block his path, Moorgram continues to make his way to safety, avoiding her attempt to trip him. As soon as he lands on the slick blue pane, he disappears and appears, bloodied, next to a curious and worried Darkhelm and Lady Argentea.

Moorgram pants heavily, "So many birds. Our small friends are dead." He takes several breaths. "I met a Jairess Sonn, a cleric of Gozreh who claimed to be 'ravenmaster' of the castle. I brought her down to try and capture her, but her ravens refused to leave her side. I had to retreat."

Lady Argentea says, "How you can stand, looking at you, I do not know. We need to go below to the quadrupeds, because none of us up here have any healing."

[Ostoril]

"I, could use a nap about now." Moorgram says in agreement as he begins to walk towards the camp obviously in some pain.

The ladies escort the barely-standing Moogram to the lower level to meet up with the others. Unfortunately, Windrunner had already expended the remainder of his very meager healing on himself.

Since Moorgram is the most capable healer, he is asked - despite the severity of his own wounds - to take tend to the long-term healing of the rest of the wounded in the party. Then, Nadya will bind Moorgram's wounds to do the same.

Moorgram passes out quickly. Too tired and wounded to think or do much.

Fireday, 1 Arodus 4713 AR (Waning Crescent)

Moogram wakes up, still stiff and wounded from the previous day, but having healed quickly enough despite that. What does he do?

Moorgram stretches, working the aches of the previous days battles out of his joints. He addresses his companions, "Those birds will be a problem, so many, difficult to land a blow. They did not disperse when I brought their master down like I had hoped, do any of you have anything that might be more effective than my axe?"

Lady Argentea and Darkhelm, who will continue with the party, cannot think of anything.

Nadya mentions that she once was able to disperse an angry bee swarm with the weird burst of power she can manifest, though she still doesn't quite understand it. She didn't want to continue with you more powerful heroes for the sake of her family, but understands that if you don't the ability to do something that she might, she feels obligated to go with you.

[Ostoril]

Moorgram waves her concerns away. "We will find a way, it's not worth the risk for not knowing if your ability will effect birds. We can retreat again if it's too much." He pauses a moment, "Well presuming you can travel with me. Perhaps we need to hold hands like good friends when we step on those ice tiles?" He smirks at Lady Argentea.

I can't tell, was that inviting Nadya, or asking her to stay safe here?

That said, do you "respawn" up at the crystal blue teleporter pad that takes you to the aerie?

Moorgram asks Nadya to stay back and watch over the others.

After a quick meal and checking his gear, he makes his way back to the ice tiles that took him to face Jairess Sonn.

Moorgram looks to his companions. "I assume the pad did not let you aid me last time? Shall we try going together this time?" he asks.

The pad looks like it can only take two at a time. So, Moorgram and ... ?

[Ostoril]

"Your abilities might cover my openings more." he says motioning Darkhelm to join him. "See if you can follow us through." He says back to Lady Argentea.

The two would-be heroes appear on the pad in the aerie.

R1T21: Jairess gives the command for the ravens to attack. She then takes out a vial and downs its contents.

R1T15: "Get the handler!" comes Darkhelm's telepathy. She darts to the southwest and concentrates, and a series of multicolored, pulsing lights surrounds her.

R1T8: Moorgram, what do you do?

"Lie down, let us not need to fight." Moorgram intones as he moves opposite of Darkhelm to close the distance on Jairess.

R1T7: Despite Darkhelm's display of lights, as soon as Jairess falls, the ravens become agitated and close on Moorgram. He swings his axe, doing 6 mod to the swarm, but they continue all around him, biting and pecking Moorgram for 5.

R2T15: Darkhelm comes around from the north while taking out her new, nice crossbow and shoots through the swarm, doing 2 mod.

R2T8: Moorgram, roll a Fort save, followed by a Ref save! Assuming all is okay, what do you do?

Moorgram takes a deep breath in the swarm, watching the flow and paths they take. Last time they evaded his axe, but this time he tries to keep a cool head and anticipate where they will be.

R3T7: The raven swarm moves slightly north, continuing to peck and bite at Moorgram for 4 and now Darkhelm for 2. Darkhelm freaks out and is blinded!

R4T15: Darkhelm stumbles away.
