She tip-toes around the dead rats scattered around to floor over to Artorias.
"Where do you need it?"

"Right here" Artorias waves his hand in the general direction of the door "and up here" he points directly to the trapdoor.

"You're right," Jadeite says, surprisingly sincere. "I suppose that was out of line."

Artorias actually knows exactly what to do here. Clamp the wire so it doesn't move. Hold it here. And there, in between, cut.

The wire bends and fractures under the pressing pliers, and then Artorias is holding each half in his hand. And as he lets go of one, he follows the other half up the wall, to the container...

And comes away with a container full of darts, knives, sharp shards of metal and broken glass, a flechette storm set to spray on whomever opened the door without disabling or bypassing the trap. Which Artorias has just done.

The door is disarmed.

Artorias looks at Jadeite "Look, I don't mind a joke here an then, but there is a place and time for everything, and the field isn't really one for jokes, let's forget this happened and move forward; I'm sure you want to catch this nut job as much as I do"

Looking at the trap Artorias begins to think it would be such a waste to leave all this metal lying there, he pockets the container into his bag of holding with the intention on salvaging some material when he has the time.

"So, you don't need me to detect magic?"

Elsee idly sad on the shelf next to the tunnel by this point, silently watching everything that happened as it happened.

"so ya want me to check this place out?" she asked once everyone was relitively unbusy, thumbing the direction of the hole in the wall behind her.

"It might be useful, but unless somebody has Reduce Person prepared, you'll be going in alone." Jadeite passes Elsee his potion of cure moderate wounds. "Just because I doubt you're keen on dying again, and we may not be able to retrieve your body if its wedged in a tunnel."

"Don't go to far in and take Naga with you." Badger picked up the sunrod, and a rat that had died beside it. "Hey Sora, catch." She tossed the corpse toward the cleric.

Jadeite taps Badger's shoulder and points to one of the skeleton rats dead on the ground. Its head and limbs are stripped to its skull, but its belly is intact and oddly distended. He whispers to Badger, "Its internal organs are decomposing and releasing gas. It should burst if hit with sufficient force."

Artorias pokes his head a little into the hole"Doesn't seem to deep, think you can go and return in 10 minutes Elsee?"

Elsee grinned and nooded, carefully pocketing the potion on her chest to be within arms reach. "might not be able to turn around though if things don't widen up ahead, so don't keep your head in there your you might get a face full of goblin butt."

Without annother word Elsee popped the blade of one of her Kurkri carefully between her teeth and crawled into the tunnel.

This is not a good idea. wed better shut this hole and go through the door.

Breathing had never been so hard, but at the same time it had never been so fulfilling for Artorias, with great effort he grabs his glaive from the floor and slowly walks around the remaining skeletons, he nearly trips on a dog's tibia but somehow manages to keep his footing. With trembling hands he adopts a defensive stance as he slashes at the undead animal.

Nedivax remains silent and unmoving behind the wall, his status unknown, and the turned skeleton dogs attempt to flee Sora. But the fire still spreads, incinerating the webs and burning everyone in their path.
