My winning goal allows for several others to win as well.
Of course, I have the secondary goal of NOT DYING, but that's normal, I think.
And me getting a win would not involve destroying everypony else.

My faction probably will let anypony with the main aim of NOT conquering the planet get away if they could. After all, there's hogz that need to be eradicated and paranids to clear. :smalltongue:

Pleasure for Slaneesh, blood for Khorne and goodness knows what for Tzeentch and Nurgle.
One does not summon a Tzeentchian deamon: you must mearly get its attention.
As for Nurgal: great quantitys of befouled substances would be the norm, I think.
Edit: My guys are here to kill things and get off on it. As long as they are still alive and the more importaint experiments are still working, it counts as a win to us.
That's as creative of a way to learn about the Inquisitor that I could think of really.
What you did was quite creative, and well done at that. No worries.
I've put up a post more or less explaining Greymane's goals. At least, the obvious ones. As an Inquisitor, you can expect plots within plots...
I'm also looking forward to when someone asks about the augmetics. *full backstory go!*
More than anything else now, I need maps and stuff so that I can properly orientate myself.
Might try my hand at drawing today or tomorrow.
Meanwhile!
I need names! Lots of names. Names of rivers. Towns. Hamlets. Mountains. Hills. Forests. Tundras. Desert. Oceans.
We already have:
Moon Dancer, the capital.
Greenrock Mountains, the west edge of the continent.
Asharis, island city.
Morian coast, apparently somewhere to the South.
Proposals:
Eustian, the main continent.
Vilaris, another smaller city of the main continent. I vote this to be the nearest city next to the Greenrock Mountains.
Deepfang Woods, huge borean forest near to the frozen North.
Deepfang River, a large river running through the forest and eventually out to the coast.
So I'm gonna have some parasprites pop out of a forest soon... anyone want to be the ones attacked? I don't mind if they win or not, but I need to encounter somepony so I can use something besides parasprites.
Also, I forgot genestealer cults!
Genstealer cults are a thing. :smallamused:
Hmmm, I wouldn't mind a little clash between us Lixie. Albeit it would either have to be a Scouting party (Which would assume that we can also play as regular troopers once in a while) or for when I'm setting up my base of operations in order to assault you and Grif.
Sure!
So... are you chaos?
I've kinda set things up for an initial conflict against your forces. If you are alright with that http://i.imgur.com/pUT8r.png

Brimstones Folly: The sight where a great beast was felled, Brimstones folly was the sight of the death of a very old and very powerful creature associated with flame. Descriptions of it vary, it has been said to have been anything from a chaos dragon to a great buffalo Deamon prince. Neverless, this wide expance of obsidion that it left in its wake is said to be cursed by locals and off worlders alike due too the colony of rock wolves that has somehow made its way to the planet and is tapping the obsidion as a food supply. Naturaly, the few miners are P.Oed at this.
Fallenstars Camp: The home base for a very well known merc group, this mostly anti-pony has members ranging from the unusual, such as diamond dogs, goats (Demiurge), and griffons, to the exotic, such as Buffalo.
It is one such Buffalo who founded this near-fortress city in order to create his dream of a pony-free land, after which the "camp" is named after. The only reason why the fort has not been wiped off the face of the planet is because A. They tend to actualy keep the peace among the xenos and abpony groups (who they do not see as ponies), and B. They are a group of some of the most feared bandits in the galaxy, and are very well armed, with members often bringing there own xenos tec from there home planets.
Hoofingburg: a small but growing city close to the greenrocks. Has a few Dou informents about the supplys of strange grey ore that is being studied there.
Ibexingisigi: a outpost for a group of xenos with a interest in the dense woodland. They have no interest in the ponys (and vice versa), but contact with Fallenstars group might convince them otherwise.
Deepfang caverns: a cave system that has remained strangly barren of life for most of its history. Recent findings show that a race of giant spiders haunted these caverns, but that they all died out after the first true settlements where built. However, reports of massive webs covering vast parts of the canopy may show that there may be a few left, after all.
Would you like a list of Deamons in the fluff section, by chance?Quote:
Yes, I am the Chaos SPEEESSHH MAREINES! /mouth foaming
So, scouting party or base of operations? I'm leaning towards scouting party personally.
No, I don't want a list of Deamons, but a list of Daemons would be much appreciated. Albeit I'd like to help a bit, mostly just to not feel useless.
Okay, sir grammar inquisitor.:smalltongue:Quote:

How about this basic layout,hmm?
Nurgal: Mostly bears. Great, putrefying bears with filthy rotting claws and bloated bodys. Ranging from fun size ( cublings) to SWEETCELESTIA (renamed Ursa Major.) A focus on the aspects of a mothers love for her cubs. Expect the occasinal "Mama Nurgal". Cult members often have filthy, overgrown coats, along with rotting teeth and hooves that should not even support there weights.
Slaanesh: A more insectoid/octopid look on these guys. The main daemon would be something like a twisted version of the Kirin, with a long, thin tentical on the creatures head that could cause hallucinations to death if stung, with a twisted version of a Manticore as the Greater Daemon: With the body of a lion, the wings of a bat, and a attracive face that could pass for any gender, its legendary glamor could distract you from the long claws it has, or the hundreds of rows of sharp, serrated teeth, or even from the amorphous stinger tipped "tail" heading right for your spine.
High-ranking Cult members, besides the obvius traits, often have a strange gleam to there skin: this is due to the layer of chitin that is forming under it.
Horns might become stingers, and wings could become insectoid. Some creatures could even grow launchable spines!
Khorne. Great daemonic rhinos and metal Elephants, baby! Not much besides that they should be mostly mammals. Cult members sprouting tusks or serrated horns is not that uncommon, and having armor actualy grow on you is a very valued blessing by the god of blood. Metal wings are found in many blessed individuals already having them. These cults tend to be found in the xenos races more than ponys, for Khorne tends to favor races with the body type that can support the lifestyle ( Buffalo ahoy!), but anyone can gain the blood gods favor.
Tzeentch: I am having... issues with this one. I want the greater daemon to be a Chimara, but then I need a basic daemon. Cockatrices may be a bit too powerful, with there gaze and all, but Griffons are my prime abpony choice. Any ideas? Your the player.

Shouldn't this be in the Lore thread? [/nitpick]
It realy should be, but I have a strong dislike of having active conversations span across 2/3 active threads. I am moving this, however.
But of course, I am the leader of the Adeptus Gramaticus anyway :smallwink:
Hmmm, I'd have to go with Cockatrice for basic daemon (Flamer of Tzeentch) but instead of having Stone stare swap it with Chaotic Fire spray. Warped blue birds flying around shooting fire from there eyes. Tzeentch would be proud.....
As for the Greater Daemon, I'd think that Griffons would fill that position well (Atleast a warped up ferocious Griffon; that way we can use normal Griffons for other things, perhaps as the normal troops for Thousand Sons but that's a different idea). Have them stand on there hind legs, give them a staff, blue feathers, and warp'em around a bit and you'd have a pretty good Greater Daemon.
Thoughts?
Edit: I'll go copy and paste it to the other thread, sorry.
We need a map, sooner rather than later. And if whoever is making it would be so kind as to make some markers for Soulstone caches, that would be absolutely wonderful.
May the combat, BEGIN!
And your dark lords have landed.
Note: Mooses are a Mandrake stand-ins.
As for what Nurquist is,exactly, I would put him best as a uniqe entity leading a squad of lesser petryons.
This buggers horns are not only sharpened to a point resembling razor-wire, and they are tipped with poison to boot! No heavy gear on him, however, and he is wearing a exta-large suit no different from the rest of his squads. Guys huge, tho. A good blast could take him down, but good luck aiming!
Hey, if Lix has the chance to field a ParaHydra (with critterblood!), I should be able to use a few toys of my own, hmm?
Oh, I have a few in my head, and they will be up by tomorow. Hint: If the tree bleeds when you cut it, dont go and eat the fruit.:smalltongue:Quote:
Nice. Keep 'em coming.
Pokonic look what you have done! You fool, you`ve doomed us all!
Oh god sentient paranid. o.o
