I have it, and I think it's great. It's permitted in games I DM.
Nobody has played it yet. I haven't had a chance to play it in any games DM'd by anyone else.
Neither link really tells me enough about it to form much of an opinion.
As best I can tell from MC's description, it's a cross between Truenamer (make a skill check to cast, the power level of the effect correlating to the DC in some way) and Kineticist (accumulate a negative resource calledBurnStrain the more you use your powers, that you need to rest to get rid of), both of which serve to force you to seek downtime after a while.
Beyond that, I have no idea what they can do, nor whether the class is mechanically viable, overpowered, or underpowered - and I'm okay with not climbing the paywall to find out.
